Europe London
Posted: October 31, 2014

A trip to the theatre can sometimes work out quite expensive with dinner, drinks and the tickets.  However, it does not have to be. There are a number of pre theater restaurants in London to visit.

Night Time London

Big Easy

The Big Easy offer a pre theater menu between 12pm – 6pm and then 10:30pm to close Monday to Friday. Customers can choose two courses, a starter, main or dessert.  It also includes a craft brew, slushie or glass of wine.  All of this for £10 ! What a bargain. The Big Easy has one restaurant on the King’s Road, near Fulham and they have also opened a second one in Covent Garden. I went to the Covent Garden restaurant the last time I visited the theater.  This restaurant had plenty of tables, but arrive super early if going during the school holidays.

I have been to Sophie’s Steakhouse many times and the food is delicious. They also serve great cocktails. The restaurant has a pre theater menu, two courses for £15 and three courses for £18.  The offer is available 5pm – 7pm, 10pm until close and also for lunch 12pm – 5pm.  The £1 plus VAT of the retail price of every theater menu sold, is given to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity by the restaurant.
