New Years Eve is just around the corner, what will you be doing?  For those in Perth, WA, there are a lot of activities taking place.  As in many cities celebrating NYE, it really comes down to price.  Here is a look at some of the NYE parties taking place in Perth.

The Fire and Ice Ball

At a mere $199 per person, you can be go to the ball – the Argyle Ballroom which is in the Parmelia Hilton.  The ticket price includes dinner (I should think so too) but it does not state that it includes drinks. Even the Hilton hotel does not advertise the NYE party.

The Avairy

The famous roof top bar is having its own masquerade wine dinner on New Years Eve. Guests are welcomed with Moet & Chandon, Peroni beers & canapes on arrival, followed by a four course meal and entertainment. Unfortunately, tickets (costing $165 each) to the “White Party” at the Avairy have sold out.

The George

The bar/restaurant on St George’s Terrace is selling tickets for $130 for New Year.  The price includes drinks, canapes and entertainment. As there are just two days left until the big night, the tickets to The George have sold out.  But its sister property, The Byrnele Hotel in Nedlands is selling tickets for $100 which includes a three course dinner with wine.

The Greenhouse

At 100 St George’s Terrace, there is another New Year’s Eve party taking place, at the Greenhouse.  For just $140 you can enjoy beer wine, spirits and buffet food (as part of the ticket).  Doors open at 7pm and DJs will be playing your favourite tunes throughout the night until closing time at 2am.

Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club

For those who prefer a more relaxed and informal New Year, head over to Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club.  The party is for members only and it is BYO – alcohol and food. Last year I also spent the 31st at Cott Surf Club, but I had a great time and am looking forward to doing it again and a swim in the ocean when the clock strikes midnight.

I hope you all have a great New Year, where ever you are spending the 31st.  See you in 2013 !!
