Cochabamaba is the fourth largest city in Bolivia and has a population of just under 700,000 people. The name of the city comes from Quecha with the word qucha meaning lake and the name “pampa” means open plain. Bolivia was inhabited by Spain until 1825. The city is more than 2,500 meters above sea level.
