Hen Party Ideas in London

Organising a hen party can be difficult, especially if there are a lot of hens !! Here are just some ideas on what to do on your next hen party and they don’t all have to be expensive.

1) Cocktails

I have been to Be@1 cocktail bar for two hen parties.  It is a fantastic place to go as there are more than 14 different types of cocktails.  If you go to the bar between 5 – 7pm it is 2 cocktails for the price of 1.  At some of the venues, such as the new one in Old Street, they are very few people at 5pm, meaning there is no queue for the bar, allowing you to order as many cocktails as you please in one go.

2) Clubs

Zebrano’s in Carnaby Street offer a set menu for large parties.  A 2 course meal is £11.95, whereas a 3 course meal is £14.95 which is quite good value for money. You will need to pre-order the menu choices before the actual hen party day. Once you have finished dinner, there is free entry into the club below.  The bar is quite bar downstairs and you can also reserve an area. On Friday nights, there is a mix of chart and R&B.

3) Afternoon Tea

For those that prefer a quieter hen party, choose the Afternoon Tea option. There are many places to go for Afternoon Tea in London.  Prices vary from £25 t0 £45, with the Savoy and the Ritz the most expensive.  Some hotels such as Flemings will allow people to hire out a whole room for the party, included in the price of the tea.

4) Male Strip Shows

There are a number of different male strip shows throughout the UK. Dreamboys has shows in London, Newcastle, Brighton, Bournemouth, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff. Prices start from £35 per person. The VIP package at £50  includes your own VIP area with private bar and tables all fully dressed in hen party decorations.  The Adonis Cabaret show promotes itself as the best girls night out with full monty comedy strip shows presented by a drag queen.  Both venues include a free drink on arrival and a buffet selection.
