Itaka is one of my favorite brunch and drink spots in Barcelona.
Set up two years ago by an American and French couple, this place is buzzing on the weekends. Open from Thursdays until Sunday afternoons, this is a place I highly recommend visiting in your next trip to Barcelona. It is located just outside of the Parc de la Ciutadella. There are a variety of new meals on the menu each week and posted on Instagram by the chef. I go as often as I can on the weekends. My favorite is the greek salad plus the Tex Mex nachos. The staff are very friendly and the service is always so quick. Many places in Barcelona customer service is poor and food can be pricey. Here the prices are very reasonable and they also serve generous gin and tonics, plus they have beer on tap. The nachos are 7 Euros and drinks are between 2 or 3 Euros. There are different specials during the week and they vary from 10 to 12 Euros.
Itake also has a terrace, so people can make the most of the warm Barcelona weather even comfortable to sit outside in the winter (as they also provide blankets).
