I was fortunate to go to NYC earlier this month for a conference. The weather was warm, around 25 degrees celcius and sunny for a few days. There was not much rain at all. What a difference a month makes.
Now in October, New York City is recovering from the biggest storm to hit the city for generations. Sandy swamped part of the NY subway system, flooded lower Manhattan’s Wall Street district and left more than 8 million homes and business across several east coast states without electricity. My thoughts are with those who live over on the east coast, I hope the recovery is quick and everyone’s homes are running back to normal very soon.
